How Every Program Runs

Three steps. Every program. Every client.

01

Assess

Movement screen first — joints, asymmetries, mobility limits, training history. Every program starts here. Nothing is prescribed before Chris understands how the body in front of him actually moves.

02

Prescribe

Programming built around the assessment, the goal, the calendar, the kitchen. Every rep, every set, every rest interval has a reason. No filler. No "see what feels right today."

03

Show Up at 100%

Every session — first-time lifter or comp-prep peak week — Chris coaches at the same intensity. Eyes on every rep. Cueing in real time. No phone. No autopilot. This is the part clients write reviews about.

Common Questions

Asked by clients before they booked.

How often should I train with a coach versus on my own?

It depends on your goals and how fast you want results. Most clients start at 2-3 sessions per week for the first 8-12 weeks while we build the movement library and the program. After that, some clients drop to 1-2 sessions while running the written program solo on the other days. Olympia-prep clients often stay at 4-6 sessions per week year-round.

Can my partner and I have completely different goals?

Yes. One partner training for a marathon while the other is rebuilding strength post-injury? No problem. The programming is individualized — what's shared is the hour and the coaching presence.

Do I have to track macros?

Yes for the first 6-12 weeks of any prescribed nutrition plan — that's how we know what's actually happening. After that, some clients move to intuitive structures with periodic re-tracks. Tracking isn't the goal; it's the data that proves the plan is working.

How far out from my show should I start prep?

Minimum 16 weeks for an experienced lifter who's already lean. 20-24 weeks for first-timers or anyone starting more than 10-12 lb above stage weight. Start later than that and you're either crash-dieting or showing up flat.

What gym access do I need for online coaching?

Standard commercial gym access is ideal — a barbell, dumbbells up to 100 lb, a cable stack, a rack. We can program around limited home setups, but the more equipment, the more options in the program.

Can you guarantee results?

We guarantee the prescription, the coaching attention, and the methodology. We can't guarantee outcomes — they depend on adherence, sleep, stress, and biological variability. What we can tell you upfront, with the assessment data, is what a realistic outcome looks like for your starting point and timeline.
